in fact, i loved so much your idea of mixing dwarf fortress material with sword & sworcery style… that i just had to go one step further — draw 7 starting dwarfs of my next fort, taking into account their looks & traits [link] - now i absolutely have to illustrate the fort's saga =)

p.s. your ranger is a disguised elf or a human: dwarfs don't use bows =)

Oh man! That looks mint! I love the textures you used on them! And the dog looks real good as well. Hopefully no one kicks up a fuss about the non bearded ladies, but I like that you kept it canon.

Oh Dwarves stick to crossbows don't they! Shit, that would have been cooler to draw as well. Ha ha
